“The reason I'm back in school is to further my education. I want to get a high school diploma. Once I get my diploma I can go to college and go into the medical field and become a medical assistant."
Jennifer's story, continued...
"The first step I need to do is to work on my math skills. I want to practice my long divisions, fractions and decimals. I also want to practice word problems. I am going to work hard and do my best to go to the next class. I just need to set my mind to it. When I get a diploma I will say, ‘coming back to school was the smartest thing I ever did. It was worth the effort.'
Once I get a diploma I want to go to college.”
